How to make a bootable Pendrive

We all know that,Windows is the leading Operating System in this generation.But Windows gets corrupted sometimes due to some unsupported files or some reasons.When Windows gets corrupted,we install a new OS of Windows via CD. But now most of us are using pendrive to install a new OS of Windows. But remember that you can’t install an OS without a Bootable Pendrive.

What is meant by Bootable Pendrive?

Bootable Pendrive is an pendrive which can install OS for Windows. If your pendrive is unbootable means,just make it bootabable by the following algorithm.

How to Make Bootable Pendrive?(using windows 7/8)

Remember that this is not a trick. This is an Algorithm. You have to  do each and every step of this algorithm carefully. Anyway this algorithm is very easy and simple to use. Just setup your mind for 5 minutes to make a Pendrive Bootable quickly.

This method is for only Windows 7 and Windows 8 users.

so let’s started,

Step 1: First connect your pendrive of atleast 4GB to your computer.

Wndows 7 users go to start menu,open command prompt by searching “cmd” in the search box. Then right click on your mouse and select the option Run as Administrator and select “yes”

Windows 8 users also follow the same steps.

Step 2: Now type the command as “DiskPart” and hit Enter.

Step 3: Now type “list disk” and hit Enter. After that you will see a list of external and internal devices connected to your computer.

Step 4: Now type the command as “Select Disk 1” and hit Enter.

Here the pendrive is in “Disk 1” hence we have selected the “Disk 1”. Make sure you have selected the correct disk,because we are going to format in one of the upcoming step.

Step 5: Now type the command as “Clean” and hit Enter. It will erase all the data from the pendrive.

Step 6: Now type the command as “create partition primary” and hit Enter. It will create partition primary in pendrive.

Step 7: Now type the command as “Select partition 1” and hit Enter. it will select the partition created in the last step.

Step 8: Now type  the command as “format= fs ntfs quick” and hit Enter. it will format your pendrive quickly with  NTFS file type.

Step 9: Now type  the command as “active” and hit Enter. It will make partition as active for booting. If you missed this step means you cannot make a bootable pendrive  perfectly.

Step 10: Now type “exit” and hit Enter to close the command prompt. These commands are enough to make Bootbale Pendrive.
