Samsung has released new Galaxy note 5 update,which is mashmallow
Follow these steps to update your galaxy note 5

Make sure you charge your device before proceeding
Backup all your data
Get your original USB cable ready
Now get firmware from here
Click here to download  odin3-v3-11-1




Now Extract (unzip) the firmware file

Extract Odin ZIP file
Open Odin v3.11.1
Reboot Phone in Download Mode (press and hold Home + Power + Volume Down buttons)
Connect phone and wait until you get a blue sign in Odin
Add the firmware file to AP / PDA
Make sure re-partition is NOT ticked
Click the start button, sit back and wait few minutes
That's it ......You are done
Your galaxy note 5 is now running on android 6.0.1
